David Dixon's FJ43

What can I say but, Wow!  This truck is so sweet its sickening.  Completely restored with great skill down in S. America.  Some very nice amenities added as well.  David's on a trip but when he returns I ll snap some more pics of it.

Well I have some very sad news to report.  While driving on a local highway here in Little Rocks a big rig T-boned David and his cruiser.  The truck was pushed over and over several times.  Thank the Lord above everyone is safe and sound but the truck was destroyed.  And thank God we had just changed out his windshield with safety glass ( they dont use safety glass in the lower Americas, it had sheet glass which would've cut David and his son to pieces).

This is Felton Rhodes 1987 FJ60.  He searched all over to find this baby and when he found this one it had 44k original miles on it.  An amazing truck that he immediately began to upgrade.  We installed an OME suspension package,  an H55f five speed, a ceramic header, a Weber 38, and a DUI performance distributor.

These recent pics show the cruiser after 3 yrs of his ownership.  It now sports a Hella light package, Tuffy console, new carpets, rims and tires, a custom dual battery set up, an ARB bull bar with an ARB roof rack (damn those things are heavy) and ofcourse a nice stereo system.

This truck was one of my first conversion a LOOOOOng time ago.  He has spent the last 5 or so years making this one of the nicer trucks around.   Everything is tucked away with style and thought.
