Trucks
Joe Julian's 1979 FJ40
This was the first real restoration I did. We did this truck about 12 years ago and it still looks great. It was a frame up restoration with each piece sanded, prepped and painted. We powdercoated and lined all the important other parts for a long lasting truck. The engine is TBI 350 with an automatic behind it. All the amenities are there, Power Steering, Four wheel disc brakes, custom VDO gauges, Rims and Tires, Custom bumper with winch, New seats with RCI harnesses, Tinted windows and a custom roll cage. The owner is just not driving it much and has decided to let it go. You can reach the owner thru me at the shop 501 821 4737 if you have any questions
This is Doctor Sam Houston's fully restored/modified 1972 FJ40. It was a full on restoration with some updates from the aftermarket. The suspension is upgraded. The underside and inside are both poly lined and painted to match the body. Every piece of metal on the truck has been refinished or powdercoated. It is painted the new FJ Cruiser blue with a Dark Grey Interior and Black and Silver trim. The engine is freshly rebuilt/balanced, all new everything on the truck from tires to brakes to weather-stripping Additionally you can see in the pics how we retrofitted some things like the rollbar and rear jump seats. Call me at the shop if you are interested 501 821 4737.
Here is Doctor Gus Fernandez's 76 Soft Top FJ40...This was the very first truck I ever worked on. A long fifteen years ago. Over the years Gus has maintained the truck until recently we pretty went through the whole thing. It has a new engine, new seats, new console and stereo, new rims and tires, new suspension, power steering, new aluminum tailgate and a poly liner application. I'd be willing to bet since this is a farm truck it doesnt have 400 miles on the motor since it was refreshed. Gus is asking 10k for the truck....this is a great starter truck that only needs a few things to be top notch. 821 4737, if you are serious I ll put you in touch with Gus.
Felton Rhodes' 1987 FJ60
probably the nicest '60 on the planet. Over 30k invested, selling for 17k, call me I ll put you in touch with Felton. Right now I think the truck has 76,000 original miles on it. It does have some hail damage on the hood and tops of the fenders (the front was exposed) from a local hail storm.
